During the course of treatment for a 50-year-old male patient with metabolic syndrome, a case study determined that Integrated Yoga and Naturopathy (IYN) showed promise in the management of metabolic syndrome (MetS). The researchers registered reduction in parameters associated with the patient’s cluster of medical conditions.
The case study was published in the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.

Given the outcome of the case study, the researchers propose that IYN could be integrated into MetS management as a a safe and beneficial form of intervention that does not require pharmaceuticals.
