HUNDREDS of medical workers now infected with novel coronavirus

A photo that was recently leaked to the Chinese social media platform Weibo depicts a presentation slide outlining hundreds of medical workers in Wuhan, China, who’ve supposedly come down with novel coronavirus in recent days.

Hou Anyang, founder and chairman of a Chinese asset management firm, was the first to publish the photo, which is said to have been taken at a recent coronavirus prevention and control conference in Hubei Province, where Wuhan is the capital.

Though Hou’s Weibo profile is no longer active, the photo in question was leaked to other social media platforms, indicating that communist China is once again up to no good in trying to censor the truth about how coronavirus is ravaging Hubei Province.

Listed on the slide are all of the Wuhan facilities where at least 15 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed among medical staff, including those who picked it up from patients. Also listed are the dates of the first confirmed infections at each facility.

The most infected hospital listed is Wuhan Union Hospital with 101 confirmed cases and 161 suspected cases, totaling 262, as of February 8.

In second place is Wuhan University Renmin Hospital with 92 confirmed cases and 102 suspected cases, totaling 194. And in third place is the No. 1 Hospital of Wuhan, one of the rapidly built response facilities, with 52 confirmed cases and 72 suspected cases, totaling 125.

“All three facilities are among the 14 hospitals designated by Wuhan authorities to treat virus patients,” writes Angela Bright for The Epoch Times. “Almost all on the presentation slide were hospitals in Wuhan, except two in neighboring cities: the People’s Hospital of Hanchuan City and the Central Hospital of E Zhou City.”

Communist China LIED about coronavirus transmitting from patients to hospital staff

Early on in this outbreak, Chinese authorities were insistent that coronavirus does not have the ability to transfer from infected patients to the medical staff treating them. But we now know that this was a bald-faced lie, as coronavirus can, in fact, transmit from human to human, and is doing so at a rate that’s likely far higher than we’re all being told.

It was January 11, in fact, when the Wuhan Health Commission officially announced that there was no clear evidence of “human-to-human transmission.” But dozens of confirmed cases later and it’s clear that human-to-human transmission of coronavirus is not only possible but happening.

In addition to the medical facilities mentioned on the slide, other smaller-scale hospitals in China are also reporting coronavirus infections among their medical staff. One individual known as Mr. Wei told The Epoch Times that he and other medical staff have all contracted coronavirus because authorities failed to promptly notify them that the disease can spread from person to person.

“We knew what was going on clinically, but we didn’t have data due to the official cover-ups,” Mr. Wei is quoted as saying. “We didn’t know what was going on, so we worked for nearly two months with almost no protection.”

“We’ve had five cases of lung infections in our hospital,” he added. “There are about 50 people in our hospital, so it’s about 1 out of 10.”

According to a recent study published in The Lancet, the actual death rate from coronavirus is about 15 percent, a figure significantly higher than the two percent figure being thrown around by the communist Chinese government and the World Health Organization (WHO).
