Chiropractor forced to pay $100,000 in fines for sharing “anti-vaccine” content on social media

A Canadian doctor is being punished for engaging in free speech online because the board that governs her field of practice feels as though the views she expressed “brought the profession of chiropractic into disrepute.”

According to reports, Dr. Dena Churchill will now be forced to pay $10,000 per year for 10 years, simply for committing the “thought crime” of stating on social media that getting vaccinated could be harmful to some people.

Even though the package inserts printed by manufacturers and included with their vaccines also warn that vaccinated individuals could become ill or die from vaccines, Dr. Churchill is being accused of “professional misconduct” for sharing these facts with her followers – something that her country’s national chiropractic association says is an “egregious breach” of its guidelines.

Local media in Canada has reported that, in order for a chiropractor to remain in good standing with the association’s guidelines, he or she must not “discuss vaccines in any capacity,” even when doing so might protect a patient from bodily harm.

“Dr. Churchill was responsible for social media posts outside her scope of practice which were harmful to the public,” a committee that evaluated Dr. Churchill’s actions announced following its investigation, adding its opinion that Dr. Churchill was “defiant of regulators” in refusing to delete her social media posts about vaccines.

“Dr. Churchill maintained significant social media activity which is outside the scope of practice of chiropractic in Nova Scotia despite direct instruction to stop. That is egregious conduct,” the committee went on to contend.

If vaccines are so inherently wonderful, then why can’t they stand up to scrutiny or skepticism?

The committee’s expectation was that Dr. Churchill would simply bend to its demands that she censor her views online, which she was not willing to do. Consequently, the committee proceeded to bully her, using the medical police state in Canada as backing, by demanding that she pay up for her “thought crimes.”

“The entire matter could have been avoided if Dr. Churchill deleted offending posts from her social media account,” the committee admitted, indicating using 1984-like rhetoric that free speech is no longer allowed, at least in Canada.

“Dr. Churchill has been found guilty of the charges that have been filed against her,” the committee added.

In responding to this blatant persecution against her, Dr. Churchill doubled down on her social media posts, stating that she has “no remorse” for sharing them, and “would do it all over again if I had the opportunity.”

“My sincere hope is that my example will awaken more of the public to the control and manipulation of the medical industrial complex,” she added, thanking the CBC for shining a light on the situation.

Dr. Churchill stands by her contention that vaccines are dangerous, and that more people would know this if they simply spent more time reading vaccine package inserts and conducting independent research on their own.

But this is exactly what the medical industrial complex doesn’t want people to do, because then they’d realize that vaccines are neither safe nor effective. If they were, then the vaccine industry wouldn’t have to spend so much time, energy, and money trying to censor people like Dr. Churchill who are brave enough to tell the truth about them.

“‘Anti’ is a word used to divide the population,” says Dr. Churchill, taking issue with those who would try to label her as “anti-vaccine.” “I’d encourage you to be vaccine informed.”

“Silencing us doctors in any discipline is against the charter of rights and freedoms,” she maintains. “And to silence us when we are trying to relate dangers to public based on research is criminal!”
