Victoria, Australia, implements draconian new lockdown, no outdoor trips allowed

One of the strictest lockdown impositions has been declared in Victoria, Australia, where a “state of disaster” ruling now prohibits people from going out late or, in some cases, even leaving their homes at all.

After reporting 671 new alleged cases of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), the Australian government took the opportunity to shut everything down and order everyone to stay home in order to stay safe.

“We have to do more, and we have to do more right now,” announced Daniel Andrews, the 48th and incumbent Premier of Victoria.

Limitations on travel and movement throughout Victoria and much of Australia have already been strict up until now, and will only worsen as the government ramps up the fear-mongering – and Big Tech ramps up the censorship against those opposing it – about a few hundred more cases of the novel virus.

“Where you slept last night is where you’ll need to stay for the next six weeks,” the new rules stated. People will also need to be back inside their homes at 8pm every night, and will not be allowed back out until 5am – this must be the timeframe when the virus really gets infectious.

“Only one person per household will be allowed to leave their homes once a day – outside of curfew hours – to pick up essential goods, and they must stay within a 5-kilometer radius of their home unless nearest shop is over 5 KM away,” the rules further indicate.

Australians who live in Victoria will be allowed to exercise, but only for up to one hour per day. They can only exercise with one other person at a time, and must remain within five kilometers of one or the other’s home.

Australia’s caseload has flatlined – what is really going on, here?

While 671 new cases might sound like a lot to some people, it is a small drop in the bucket compared to Australia’s overall population. Another thing to consider is that Australia’s overall caseload has pretty much flatlined since March.

While the total number of daily new cases is said to be on the rise, there still does not seem to be any honest definition for what a “case” actually entails. What most of the world is seeing is a steady decline in the number of hospitalizations and deaths, with most “cases” showing minimal or no symptoms.

Responding to a few hundred new “cases” by shutting everything down again and locking people back up inside their homes is drastic and uncalled for, which begs the question: What else is going on that would prompt this?

Perhaps nothing else is going on, and this is just another example of government overreach for the purpose of controlling the people. This is the most likely answer, considering science is not on the side of those pushing these lockdowns as the answer to the plandemic.

And what, exactly, does keeping people inside their homes only between certain hours actually do to stop the spread of a virus? Does the virus go to “sleep” during the day, only to come back out at night when the sun sets to start infecting people who are anywhere other than their own properties?

Bill Shorten, the shadow minister for government services in Melbourne, issued a stark warning about this latest round of lockdowns, which he says could result in “a tsunami of mental health conditions.”

His solution is for people to voluntarily stay away from others to avoid these types of government mandates, though this would seem to be like a ransom and threat situation where people are being told that they must obey the government’s “recommendations,” or else.
