The idea of socialized medicine in America, therefore, would not merely address the symptoms but might exacerbate the underlying disease. “The only way to solve this problem is not to make the so-called treatment of disease more profitable through socialized medicine, but rather to decentralize medicine. Decentralization is the right answer to this. If you really want to lower health care costs in America, you’ve got to reform the entire ecosystem of health information.”
